David Alston rescued a deserved point for East Allington Utd with a late equaliser at Pool Lane on Saturday afternoon.
Just when it seemed Malcolm Lamble's men were heading for defeat against Waldon Athletic, midfielder Alston produced the goods with a powerful right-footed shot.
East Allington had fallen behind in the 15th minute when Waldon scored a fortunate goal from close range.
The hosts pressed for the winner and went close in the 90th minute when Jamie Ivatts had an effort cleared of the line.
East Allington's next game is home to Bishopsteignton on Saturday 8 March. Kick off is 3pm.
East Allington Utd reserves, meanwhile, produced a superb performance as they beat Channings Wood 6-4 away.
Striker Matt Weighill scored a stunning hat-trick, while Steve Edmonds, Rob Austin and Ben Robey netted one goal each.
The reserves travel to Chudleigh on Saturday 8 March for their next league match.
